Located in Santa Clarita, CA, just 40 miles north of LAX, our facility houses all necessary equipment for comprehensive on-site landing gear overhauls. Capabilities include NDT (Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Eddy Current, and Nital Etch), plating (Hard Chrome, Nickel, Chem Film), shot peen, machining, inspection, hydraulics repair, paint, and assembly.

Sunvair serves prominent clients including Boeing, Lockheed, leading U.S. commercial airlines, and various military fleets.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an NDT Technician MT, PT, ET Level 2 at Sunvair's Santa Clarita, CA facility. The technician will perform nondestructive testing using Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Eddy Current (ET) techniques in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, documenting results, interpreting findings, ensuring compliance with quality control measures, and working collaboratively with team members to support overall safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in nondestructive testing techniques, including Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Penetrant Testing
  • Experience in Inspection and understanding of Quality Control practices
  • Knowledge of Corrosion detection and prevention
  • Familiarity with Ultrasonics methodologies is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to document inspection results accurately
  • Comfortable working in an on-site environment and part of a team
  • Certification in NDT Level 2 for MT, PT, and ET is required
  • Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or related fields is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and adherence to safety protocols
