Ready to take your electrical design skills beyond the CAD screen?
We're seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development of advanced electrical systems for high-performance vehicle programs. This hands-on role combines 3D/2D design, wire harness development, high-voltage components, prototype builds, and vehicle integration.
You’ll work alongside talented engineers and suppliers to turn innovative concepts into real-world hardware, troubleshoot challenging design issues, and support projects from initial development through assembly and testing.
What You'll Do- Design electrical components, subsystems, wire harnesses, and high-voltage systems.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6 or 3
DEXPERIENCE. - Support prototype builds, assembly trials, and manufacturing activities.
- Develop BOMs, perform tolerance stack-ups, and support DFM reviews.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot design and build issues and support testing activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
- 3 to 5+ years of electrical design experience; automotive, motorsports, or aerospace preferred.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 or 3
DEXPERIENCE. - Hands-on experience with wire harness design and high-voltage systems.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and tolerance stack-ups.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits, testing, or track support.
Work on advanced vehicle technology, contribute to hands-on engineering development, and see your designs progress from concept to physical hardware in a high-performance engineering environment.
