Clinical Site Coordinator/Non-Instructional Adjunct – Pharmacy Technician Program
We are accepting applications for the Clinical Site Coordinator/Non-Instructional Adjunct for the Pharmacy Technician Program. The role will be based at either the Valencia or Canyon Country campus or other locations. Part‑time faculty positions are as needed, flexible hours, no tenure. Seek candidates to help students achieve educational goals across programs.
Responsibilities- Oversee clinical education for Pharmacy Technician students under the Program Director.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Identify and secure clinical affiliations with healthcare facilities, assessing potential sites and negotiating contracts.
- Manage student placements, maintain site agreements and tracking system.
- Obtain background checks, immunization records, and coordinate site orientations.
- Maintain documentation for compliance and generate reports.
- Build and sustain relationships with healthcare partners.
- Participate in curriculum and program development, committee activities and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Pharmacy Technologies.
- Or bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience; or associate’s degree and six years of professional experience; or associate’s degree, accredited Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and four years professional pharmacy experience.
- State licensure/registration to practice as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
- If a pharmacy technician, must possess and maintain national certification (CPhT).
Assignments may include Monday–Friday day and evening, as well as Saturday classes.
Adjunct Salary Rate:
Starting at $88.30 per hour. Academic Adjunct Salary Schedule.
