Solutions Architect -Hybrid

The Solutions Architect I supports the team by conducting research, designing solutions, and creating documentation.

• Meet with project stakeholders and recommend solutions that adhere to our architecture principles and strategic directives.
• Design transition and target state architectures based on the proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and other Solution Architects to ensure that solutions are well documented.
• Translate business needs into solutions that leverage both existing and newer technologies.
• Understand how different aspects of business, data, and technology can be applied to solve a problem.
• Identify gaps and leverage existing building blocks to deliver the best possible solution.
• Balance competing priorities while still delivering solutions in a timely manner to the project stakeholders.
• Research new and innovative technologies that impact the banking sector

• Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, customer management platforms, marketing technology, and financial transaction processing concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies and to keep abreast of industry and technology changes.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance, FFIEC, NIST, CSF, and other applicable rules/regulations, frameworks, and other standards.
• Hands‑on experience with implementing banking and financial applications.
• Exceptional communicator capable of collaborating with technical or non‑technical business units.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt new technologies into existing workflows.
• Proficient in documentation and creating architectural diagrams.
• Knowledge of the different phases in the SDLC.
• Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid integration strategies.
• Experience using Visio, SQL Server, and Archi.
• Candidates for this position will be asked if they can provide anonymized architecture diagrams.
