Take our microfluidic chips and hand-built hardware from prototypes to products: fabrication, specifications, verification and validation, and the integration that docks consumables to Habitat. Then install systems at pilot sites, train users, and bring what the field teaches back into the product.

• Own chip fabrication from 3D printing through bonding, surface treatment and inspection, and the move to molding.
• Write specifications and acceptance criteria, and run the verification and validation that lock each chip.
• Integrate consumables with Habitat's pumps, valves, sensors and docking; write control and test code in Python or C/C++.
• Build the supply chain with contract manufacturers; own the bill of materials and design for manufacturing.
• Install, calibrate and support Habitat at pilot sites, and turn field failures into engineering changes.

• Microfluidic device fabrication with your own hands.
• Mechanical or bioengineering, with prototype-to-product work behind you.
• Fluidic systems: pumps, valves, manifolds, connectors, and how to make things not leak.
• A prototype taken through V&V with a contract manufacturer or machine shop.
• Python or C/C++ for hardware control and test automation.

• Injection molding, CNC or production 3D printing
• Sterilization validation, ISO 13485 or 21 CFR 820
• Lab automation or life-science instrument development
• Field service or applications engineering

Base salary $115,000 to $165,000 a year, depending on experience. Equity, health benefits and flexible paid time off. Visa sponsorship is evaluated case by case; tell us your situation early.
