Position: Massage Therapist

Reports To: Spa Manager & Hotel General Manager

• Licensed in Massage Therapy with CAMTC Certification
• Submittal of CAMTC certificate and application approval to the Santa Cruz Police Department before employment begins
• Must show proof of self-liability Insurance
• Proven experience working as a Spa Therapist
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and different massage types
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Patience, professionalism and respect for Spa guests
• Exceptional customer service skills

• Perform multiple types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
• Maintain detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
• Communicate with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
• Resolve guest complaints and report any accidents to the Spa Manager & Director of HR.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before and after each use.
• Follow all COVID
  19 related sterilization and sanitation requirements prior to each treatment in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Explain massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and provide suitable recommendations as needed.
• Ensure that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and report shortages to the Spa Manager.
• Enquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined by Lotus Management Inc.
