Resident Assistant

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Resident Assistant is responsible for all assigned duties related to the care, well-being and safety of the residents. Responds to residents' needs and provides residents with assistance in daily activities. Assists in orienting and training staff members.

• Assists residents with transfers and escorts residents.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and monitoring resident hygiene.
• Completes light housekeeping tasks for residents as needed.
• Delivers and picks up resident meal trays as needed.
• Monitors general health conditions of residents and reports changes or problems to supervisor.
• Prepares paperwork for medical appointments.

• One (1) year experience as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility in the past 5 years.
• Basic Life Support – CPR.
• First Aid – FAC.

• Six months experience caring for senior population.
• Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire.

$24.44 - $27.92 /hour
