As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol retail locations, help deter security‑related incidents through routine patrols and high visibility, provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and serve as a reassuring presence for guests and staff.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem‑solving mindset, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities within the location, communicating findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access‑control procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including guiding customers and staff during incidents.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
