Assistant Project Manager

We’re looking for a detail-driven Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of vehicle and subsystem projects for Woojin’s growing U.S. rail operations. This role works closely with the Senior Project Manager to coordinate schedules, deliverables, and resources across engineering, procurement, and production teams.

You’ll play a key role in keeping projects on track, ensuring visibility and alignment across functions, and driving progress toward customer and company goals. This position also offers a clear growth path toward a future Project Manager role through structured exposure to all aspects of project planning and execution.

• Coordinate daily project activities and priorities across teams.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Maintain accurate dashboards, risk registers, and action trackers.
• Manage open issues, risks, and change items through to resolution.
• Monitor supplier deliverables and ensure timely documentation.
• Prepare and present project updates to leadership.
• Drive collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or Project Management.
• 4–8 years of experience in project coordination or execution within engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• PMP/CAPM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with industrial or transportation manufacturing is a plus.
• Korean language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
