As a fully integrated member of the team, the Lead Maintenance Technician will have the opportunity to work closely with all members of our operations including maintenance, operations, production, and quality within a fast‑paced aerospace company.

The position is classified as full‑time, Non-Exempt.

• Assist Engineering and Operations Managers with R&D and improvement projects
• Work sourcing outside contractors, obtaining bids, scheduling work, and assisting with projects
• Must lead by example and delegate work that is assigned to the department
• Must work with all maintenance personnel as a mentor for all aspects of the job
• Must show the highest level of leadership in all aspects of the job
• Will assist Management with departmental training, confined space, lockout tagout, etc.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to eliminate down time and ensure production goals
• Ability to assess mechanical/electrical repairs and perform repairs to get equipment back in service with minimal down‑time, with limited supervision
• Must have basic skills using power/hand tools
• Forklift operation
• Knowledge of PLC’s, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Prefer previous experience troubleshooting systems
• Industrial furnace, boiler, and water treatment experience a plus
• Ability to follow directions and work as a team or individual
• Comply with OSHA safety rules
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Continued Education in the field of current work
• Industrial electrical experience
• Good, dependable attendance with ability to work overtime on short notice
• 3-5 years of experience performing mechanical maintenance activities
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing electrical maintenance activities
• Experience installing industrial equipment a plus
• Must be able to work safely around industrial equipment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
