Warehouse Manager – Hemp/ Cannabinoid Brands

The Pack Labs is leading the way in the hemp-derived cannabinoid industry with premium brands like Delta Munchies and Imperial Extraction . With a focus on quality, innovation, and expanding our national presence, we’re committed to creating the highest-quality products that stand out in the market. Our team is driven, ambitious, and ready to break boundaries in this rapidly growing space.

We are hiring a Warehouse Manager to oversee shipping, logistics, and inventory operations at our new Santa Fe Springs facility. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and timely movement of hemp and cannabis products throughout our supply chain, from production to customer delivery, while maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation and warehouse management within the cannabis or hemp industry, excels in fast-paced environments, and is committed to building efficient and scalable systems.

This is an onsite role with direct oversight of warehouse teams, logistics vendors, compliance documentation, and daily fulfillment operations. It demands strong coordination, communication, and leadership capabilities to ensure we meet customer demand on time and with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Logistics Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the secure transportation of hemp materials (raw, processed, and finished goods) across farms, facilities, distributors, and retailers.
  • Ensure shipments comply with all state and federal hemp transportation laws, including THC thresholds and documentation.
  • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate shipping records including manifests, bills of lading, and compliance logs.
  • Stay current with evolving hemp transportation laws and coordinate with regulatory agencies for required permits and inspections.
  • Ensure all shipments and logistics operations remain fully audit-ready.
  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners to meet performance, compliance, and service standards.
  • Collaborate with transport companies and internal departments to ensure alignment and timely deliveries.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Coordinate closely with inventory, production, and pick & pack teams to align outbound shipments with supply and demand.
  • Track materials in transit and oversee the physical movement of goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Support day-to-day fulfillment operations to ensure accurate, on-time, and well-presented customer shipments.

Cost Control & Operational Improvement

  • Monitor and manage transportation costs; identify and implement strategies for operational savings.
  • Apply best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to improve throughput, accuracy, and flow.

Problem-Solving & Communication

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all transportation and shipping issues.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding delivery statuses, delays, and solutions.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, preferably in the hemp, cannabis, or a similarly regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of hemp transportation regulations (including the 2018 Farm Bill and state-specific rules)
  • Demonstrated experience leading shipping projects and improving logistics systems
  • Proficiency in TMS, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet in warehouse environments

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range of $60,000–$80,000
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and PTO
  • A fast-paced, high-growth environment in a cutting-edge industry
  • A culture that values accountability, speed, and innovation, built from the ground up.

We’re looking for a warehouse leader who’s not just organized but obsessive about logistics excellence. If you're ready to take ownership of critical systems and grow with a company that's breaking new ground in hemp, let’s connect.

How many years have you worked in a warehouse management or logistics leadership role?

Have you worked in the hemp or cannabis industry? If yes, which companies and in what capacity?
