Warehouse Associate – Day Shift

Central Pet Distribution is hiring Warehouse Associates for a day shift schedule (4:00am–12:30pm, Monday–Friday) at our Santa Fe Springs, CA distribution center.

We are seeking dependable, safety‑focused employees who can pick, pack, and load/unload pet supply merchandise efficiently. Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklift, and inventory accuracy is preferred.

• Process transactions using RF technology or paper pick tickets.
• Pick and pack orders scheduled to ship that day.
• Inspect merchandise for quality and safety.
• Review counts of incoming/outgoing shipments versus invoices/orders.
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reporting shortages or damage.
• Use pallet jacks, stand‑up reach forklift, or sit‑down forklift as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• 1+ year related warehouse experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math skills in English.
• Forklift and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Capability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. safely.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for long periods.

• Warehouse environment with temperature variations.
• Work with or near conveyors, depending on assignment.

• Hourly rate: $17.90–$18.90 depending on experience.
