Medication Assistant, Assisted Living – Part Time

Salary: $18.00 – $19.50 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Part‑time. Weekend availability required. Overnight weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in Assisted Living and possibly Memory Care with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with outside health‑care professionals as necessary.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position (required). CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor appreciated.
