RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of population served in assigned units

• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care

• Float to other units as required

• Use EPIC electronic medical record system

• Required certifications: TNCC, BLS, and ACLS certifications via AHA

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

• Must demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served

• Communicate in clear, concise manner appropriate to developmental age of patients

• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required

• Perform heavy physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients or equipment

• Work in blood borne pathogen environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays

• Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies

• Must have manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and hearing/visual acuity within normal limits
