The opportunity comes with a clear challenge: balancing your caseload with the guidance and attention a two-clinic team needs. Three to five years of experience is preferred

Responsibilities
  • Support consistent, patient-centered orthopedic care across both clinic locations.
  • Maintain a patient caseload, providing individualized evaluations and treatment through 45-minute, one-on-one visits.
  • Lead up to four staff PTs with clear expectations, clinical guidance, and constructive feedback.
  • Strengthen therapists’ clinical decision-making through mentorship and shared learning.
  • Coordinate clinical priorities across Los Alamos and Santa Fe so both locations receive effective oversight.
  • Support accurate documentation, thoughtful treatment planning, and regular review of patient progress.
  • Identify and address care-delivery challenges while preserving the practice’s nonoverlapping appointment model.
  • Active New Mexico physical therapist licensure
  • Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills to support direct patient care and clinical guidance.
  • Ability to coach therapists, communicate expectations clearly, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to balance a patient caseload with leadership responsibilities across two clinics.
  • Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in Mountain Time, with responsibility for both locations.
  • Three to five years of physical therapy experience, preferably in outpatient orthopedics.
  • Previous experience in clinical leadership, staff supervision, or multi-site coordination.
  • Experience mentoring early-career Physical Therapists or new graduates.
  • Annual salary of $86,000-$123,000, based on experience.
  • Continued hands‑on patient care through 45-minute, one‑on‑one visits with no overlapping schedules.
  • A supportive clinical culture with an emphasis on mentorship.
  • A Monday‑Friday schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
  • Scheduling flexibility, with starts as early as 7:00 AM or finishes as late as 6:00 PM Mountain Time.
  • Relocation assistance is negotiable for candidates moving from out of state.
