Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the age of the patient population served in the assigned units. This role ensures the delivery of quality care in an efficient and safe manner, in line with the unit's standards. It requires demonstration of effective work habits and clinical practices while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect.

• Conduct initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients to monitor progress and identify trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care according to nursing standards.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions and modify care plans as necessary.
• Document interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
• Utilize effective communication strategies among team members and patients.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff and students.
• Foster a positive work environment by maintaining professional relationships.

• BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications from AHA.
• TNCC or ATCNC certifications, or equivalent, are preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
