American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring NM or compact RN licensure and ACLS certification.
Details- Cardiology Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per month, approximately 8-10 days per month
- No floating required
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Performs various Point of Care testing procedures
- Hospital scrubs provided
- Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license
- BLS certification via AHA required
- ACLS certification via AHA required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Cath Lab clinical experience required
- Coordinates and implements patient care specific to age of patient population served
- Performs patient assessments, reassessments, and develops individualized care plans
- Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Collaborates with team members and maintains effective communication across the care team
- Must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration
- Returning employees who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
