American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring TNCC and PALS certifications.

• Work in the Emergency Care unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating to other units/locations required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Dress code requires pewter/charcoal grey scrubs

• Active NM RN license or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA
• CPI/De-escalation certification highly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Coordinate and implement patient care across a range of ages and acuities in the Emergency Dept
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, establish care priorities, and develop individualized care plans
• Perform various point-of-care testing procedures
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Document timely interventions and evaluate plan of care effectiveness
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility for local rate consideration
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees (non-travel) must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for this travel assignment
