Trauma Surgeon – Santa Maria, California

Join a respected community hospital on California’s Central Coast as a Trauma Surgeon and play a vital role in delivering high‑acuity care to one of the busiest trauma programs in the region. You’ll work alongside an experienced surgical team at a designated Level II Trauma Center serving Northern Santa Barbara and Southern San Luis Obispo counties, where your skills truly make an impact.

    Join a busy Level II trauma center with 24‑hour emergency physician and anesthesia coverage

    Base salary includes 91 24‑hour primary shifts per year, with additional shifts available at $2,380 each

What You Bring
  • Board Certified / Eligible in General Surgery
  • Surgical Critical Care Fellowship completion
  • California medical license (or eligibility)

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $450,000 (91 primary 24‑hour shifts included)
  • Shift add‑on: $2,380 per additional shift
  • Signing bonus: $50,000 sign‑on bonus plus relocation assistance
  • Production incentives:
    Additional wRVU incentives provided
