American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications along with an active CA RN license.

• Work in the PACU/Pre-op/Recovery/GI Lab unit of an acute care hospital
• Level III trauma center setting
• ICU patients may recover in the PACU
• 10-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirement
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Philips telemetry equipment
• Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy coverage available 24/7
• No IV team support

• Active CA RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Active certifications must be submitted as copies, pending certifications not accepted

• Provide perioperative nursing care across pre-op, PACU, and recovery phases
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of the 3 major holidays
• Navy scrub color required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
