Security Officer Flex - Santa Maria, CA

Overview

The Flex Security Officer provides adaptable security services on a temporary or as-needed basis across various client sites. These officers are available to respond to dynamic security needs, including special events, emergency situations, or short notice staffing requirements. Complete incident reports, shift logs, and activity reports accurately and promptly. Record all relevant security activity, incidents, and observations.

Swing Shift: 2PM-10PM;
Graveyard: 10PM-6AM

Position Type: Part time - Variable Hours available

• Provide security services at local sites
• Serve as a visible security presence at client locations
• Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed
• Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Provide customer service driven, professional security services
• Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking and standing
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of state Guard Card (this position requires possession of a state Guard Card)
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License
• On-call flexible security officer availability
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
• Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check
• If prior military, DD214 discharge document with discharge status may be required upon job offer
