We are looking for highly experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians (Journeyman level) to join our team in Santa Maria, CA. BMI-Pac West, Inc. has over 100 years of serving customers throughout California and the Central Coast. Qualified candidates will provide preventive maintenance and repair services for commercial HVAC equipment in healthcare, manufacturing, oil & gas, data centers, and more. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and servicing large rooftop units, chillers, boilers, zone systems, and package & split AC equipment. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekends is required.

Base pay range $45.00/hr – $60.00/hr top technicians make over $100,000 annually.

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
• Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School (preferred)
• EPA Universal 608 Refrigerant Handling License (required)
• Experience with A2L refrigerants (a plus)
• NATE Certification (highly preferred)
• Exceptional customer service mindset
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to participate in an on-call weekend and rotation schedule
• Must be eligible to obtain DOD-level security clearance
