Position Overview

Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Case Aide to join our team at our Day Reporting Center (DRC) located in Santa Maria, CA. Our Day Reporting Centers in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria provide a community-based alternative to incarceration for clients on parole. CSI uses a curricula-driven, evidence-based model designed to assess the needs of each client to reduce individual risk factors.

Participants work closely with case managers and employment specialists to develop individualized goals and make positive changes in their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accountability for clients’ location at all times and implement all Agency policies and procedures governing facility operations, including client supervision, key control, head counts, monitoring of client’s location and visitor’s log, and emergency and other program‑required procedures.
  • Collect urine samples and complete related paperwork and breathalyzer testing as required by contract.
  • Collect intake data, develop and document program plan goals with clients, monitor treatment stipulations, job readiness preparation, and community resource referrals; assist in client orientation as assigned; recommend corrective action to supervisors as needed and monitor ongoing progress.
  • Coordinate discharges with referral agencies.
  • Supervise client work assignments and verify completion.
  • Adhere to program procedures and enforce rules, regulations, and policies. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with three (1) year(s) of experience in social services or a related field; education may be substituted with experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
  • Good written and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
