How

You’ll Make a Difference

We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager who can provide accounting, reporting and administration for assigned stores and Joint Ventures. Additionally, the individual will assist in various reporting and analysis while working on a team and meeting the demands of a growing company.

  • Responsible for day‑to‑day accounting, financial reporting, operational analysis and regulatory compliance (e.g. sales and property tax) for assigned stores, coordinating external audits, review, and financial statement preparation, with footnotes.
  • Responsible for general GAAP compliance, for all stores, including writing GAAP position memos, and implementing new policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for Joint Venture day‑to‑day accounting and finance management and administration, including financial reporting and analysis, issue resolution, waterfall calculations, distributions and capital calls.
  • Leading and managing property and general accounts and training and developing them.

About You
  • Education:

    BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline
  • Experience:

    4‑5 years Accounting experience; 3+ years supervisory accounting experience
  • Audit Experience Preferred
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point) and a high level of comfort in learning new accounting systems and computer applications.
  • Relationship skills: ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; and, ability to work effective within a team
  • Organization/Multi‑tasking: ability to allocate one’s time effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities; ability to prioritize workload; and, ability to work at a detailed level
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to apply general business and industry specific knowledge to operational and accounting practices
  • Intrapersonal: willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change, ability to be a proactive self‑starter, intellectually curious, and ambitious adaptable
