Contact Email: allanA prestigious and highly exclusive multifamily office firm located in Santa Monica is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This firm serves pioneering figures in the entertainment industry and provides top-tier family office services.

This role offers a rare combination of high-level client exposure, limited overtime (outside the final month of tax season), a four-day in-office workweek (no exceptions), and an above-market compensation and benefits package. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in public accounting or business management, a current CPA license, and a keen interest in delivering high-quality tax services within a tight-knit and elite team.

Responsibilities:

Manage and review complex individual, trust, and entity tax returns for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services within a multifamily office environment.

Coordinate with business managers, attorneys, and financial advisors on client matters.

Train and supervise staff; review work and provide mentorship and professional development.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and proactively advise clients accordingly.

Collaborate directly with firm leadership on high-value client accounts.

Ensure exceptional client service while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion.

Requirements:

CPA license required.

Minimum 5 years and up to 10 years of experience in public accounting or business management.

Proven expertise in tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and entities.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within a family office or similar high-touch environment.

Ability to thrive in a highly professional, team-oriented culture.

Willingness to work in the Santa Monica office four days per week.

Compensation:$135,000 to $180,000 based on experience.
