Job Description

Studio Binder is a software company located in Santa Monica that provides a project management solution for producers, filmmakers and video creatives.

You’ll work within Studio Binder’s Content and Editorial team and help with:

• Answering live chat inquiries from users in real‑time
• Testing and logging feature requests, UI confusions, and bugs as you go
• Identifying and composing new support documentation
• Writing voice‑over scripts for support videos
• Screen‑recording and editing support videos to voice‑over audio

• At least 3 years of experience in customer support or QA testing
• Very patient and empathetic by nature
• Problem solver who loves to “figure things out”
• Some production experience (film school is okay)
• Ridiculously tech‑savvy, able to learn new software quickly
• Resident of Santa Monica or very nearby (so you can commute easily)
• Subscriber to filmmaking blogs and channels like No Film School , Film Riot, Every Frame a Painting, Nerd writer, etc.
• Experience using Studio Binder’s product is a bonus but not required

In a typical morning, you’ll start at the office, grab a donut and coffee, then check Intercom to respond to live‑chat and email tickets, identify bugs, write new VO scripts, and finish with lunch at a local spot.
