DFH Architects is an established design firm with a long history of successful projects in mixed‑used, multifamily, commercial, office, and adaptive reuse. Our current focus is on Density Bonus, 100 % affordable housing projects, and adaptive reuse conversions from office to residential across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and San Diego.
We are looking for a leader to manage projects and work closely with partners from concept through construction. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, a critical thinker, proactive, a strong team player, and possesses excellent communication skills and a solid work ethic.
Qualifications- Minimum 7 years professional architectural experience in multifamily residential. Density Bonus & 100 % affordable housing project experience preferred.
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Licensed architect in the State of California required
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit required
- Knowledge of LIHTC project requirements is a plus
- Interested in opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm
- Outstanding graphic and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- A passion for architecture, in‑depth knowledge of working drawings and construction practice
- A strong work ethic, team player, self‑motivated, proactive
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required. No work visa sponsorship please. No exceptions.
- Must be located in the greater Los Angeles area
- Flexible schedule with reasonable hours and firm culture focused on work/personal life balance
- Permanent hybrid remote/in‑office schedule:
Monday‑Wednesday in‑office, Thursday‑Friday remote optional - Competitive compensation package
