Master’s Degree in one of the following:
Kinesiology, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Education (with an emphasis in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Physiology of Exercise or Adaptive Physical Education)

OR

A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above areas AND a Master’s Degree in one of the following:

• Any Life Science
• Dance
• Physiology
• Health Education
• Recreation Administration
• Physical Therapy
• or the equivalent

Experience teaching community college level courses.

Starting salary for Part Time Faculty is based on educational achievement and relevant prior employment experience up to but not beyond Step
4. Further step advancement shall occur at the beginning of the intersession or semester following completion of multiples of 30 LHE at Santa Monica College.
