Job Duties- Teach Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising courses
- Maintain office hours
- Participate in department and college flex day activities
- Any Bachelor's Degree AND two years of professional experience
- OR Any Associate's Degree AND six years of professional experience
- OR the Equivalent
- Possession of an appropriate valid California teaching credential authorizing service in the specified subject area(s)
- Master's Degree in Fashion Design/Fashion Merchandising or Clothing and Textiles
- Experience teaching community college level courses
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Computer skills in CAD

Starting salary for Part Time Faculty is based on educational achievement and relevant prior employment experience up to but not beyond Step
4. Further step advancement shall occur at the beginning of the intersession or semester following completion of multiples of 30 LHE at Santa Monica College.
