Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts.

• Conduct a variety of complex and detailed tasks to accomplish the effective, safe reprocessing of reusable devices in SPD, Surgery, and other hospital departments.
• Cleans, disinfects, assembles, inspects, and sterilizes complex, specialty instruments and equipment for surgical use.
• Operates Sterile Processing and Operating Room equipment.
• Completes OR and SPD recordkeeping pertaining to sterility assurance and instrument counts.

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

• Coursework/Training:
  Training course in Sterile Processing.
• 2 years Instrumentation/sterilization in an acute hospital.

Posted wage range: $25.15 - $36.21 base pay. The base pay range may be augmented by additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
