Join Planet Pharma as an Associate Manager Medical Information - I. This role focuses on responding to unsolicited medical requests and supporting the organization’s medical information strategy.
Job OverviewResponds to unsolicited medical requests regarding products from healthcare professionals (HCPs), members of the public, and internal colleagues. Uses scientific and MI expertise to drive strategic initiatives and empower stakeholders with globally aligned resources. Prepares global and local resources in collaboration with affiliate teams; may use vendors. Identifies, reports, and records adverse events and product complaints in accordance with SOP and may provide medical review for promotional materials.
Responsibilities- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information regarding products and documents in the MiQ request handling system.
- Research complex requests and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, including medical affairs, development, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Create, update, and review MI response documents, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with affiliate MI and relevant internal partners to manage global response topics and content.
- Prepare data on file to support response documents and complex requests.
- Maintain document repository and review approved documents for updates from regulatory, scientific, and literature sources.
- Understand needs of internal and external partners and provide customer interaction reports.
- Review and analyze MI databases for trends, gaps, and insights to guide content development.
- Oversee and/or evaluate external consultant writers and provide training to colleagues and vendors as required.
- Support departmental strategic initiatives related to product launches, labeling updates, and patient engagement.
- Identify, report, and record adverse events and product complaints in line with SOP.
- Participate in MI activities and projects aligned with global and regional strategic MI plans.
- Work under the supervision of a manager or colleague.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to create clear communication of scientific data for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of marketed and investigational products.
- Understanding of applicable regulatory and legal requirements for MI in the pharmaceutical environment.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate clinical, biomedical, and scientific data.
- Strong project management, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to think creatively.
- Awareness of digital solutions for communicating with HCPs and patients.
- Experience with problem‑solving and project management preferred.
- Pharmacy, Nursing, or Medical/ Life Sciences degree/advanced degree;
Pharm
D preferred. - Experience in MI or a healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with MI vendors preferred.
- Experience in Cell Therapy, Hematology, or Oncology preferred.
