The Solutions Engineering team serves as the primary technical resource and internal advocate for all customers. Through consultative engagement we identify business requirements and propose solutions that meet those needs.

• Serve as Trusted Advisor to aligned accounts, technical teams, and business stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Influence decisions through effective presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
• Guide customers through a value‑realization journey aligned to their strategic priorities.
• Demonstrate the business value of Hashi Corp solutions in solving the customer’s business problems.
• Participate in QBRs, cadence calls, office hours, and advanced roadmap sessions.
• Drive expansion within current product lines and promote adoption of multi‑product integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering).
• Offer authoritative guidance on Dev Ops concepts, infrastructure architecture, cloud, IT operations, security, and development.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Hashi Corp portfolio, partner ecosystem, and competitive landscape.

• 5+ years in a Technical Pre‑Sales or Sales Engineering role, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Dev Ops, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms.
• Experience implementing software solutions in large, dynamic enterprise companies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective collaboration in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, domestic and occasional international travel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.

• Knowledge of and experience with Hashi Corp tools.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Dev Ops).

This role is base + commission, offering uncapped earning potential tied to sales results. Compensation is based on a full‑time schedule for a full calendar year, with base pay plus an incentive opportunity per the IBM Sales Incentive plan. Salary varies with skills, experience, and location. Benefits may be prorated for those starting mid‑year.
