reporting solutions that support financial and operational decision-making
across the health system.

As the Financial Systems & Reporting Lead, you
will play a key role in the comprehensive redesign and implementation of UCLA
Health's funds flow model and supporting systems. You will translate approved
funds flow methodologies into scalable data structures, business rules, and
reporting tools while supporting physician attribution, productivity reporting,
funding allocation, and complex financial analytics.

This role partners closely with Finance, the Office of

reporting accuracy, data integrity, automation, and business intelligence
capabilities.

In this role, you will:
  • Translate funds flow methodologies and financial assumptions into system
requirements, business rules, data models, calculation logic, and reporting
structures, and maintain documentation for data definitions and calculation
    methodologies.
  • Design and maintain funds flow data architecture and reporting environments
in partnership with Finance, the Office of Health Informatics and Analytics,
    and operational stakeholders.
  • Develop data requirements, integrate financial, clinical, and operational
data; build scalable, automated solutions that improve reporting efficiency and
    reduce reliance on manual processes.
  • Develop executive, departmental, and operational reports, dashboards,
analytical tools, forecasts, and recommendations that support physician
attribution, productivity reporting, and funding allocation.
  • Lead data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis across multiple
source systems to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial
    calculations and reporting outputs.
  • Establish data quality standards, controls, testing plans, and monitoring processes for system enhancements, reporting changes, and model updates.
  • Consult with technical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements,
evaluate data sources, resolve data management issues, and provide guidance on
business intelligence, reporting, and analytics best practices.
  • Support training, adoption, and effective use of business intelligence tools and reporting solutions.

Salary Range: $98,200 to $214,600 annually
