TE Associate Attorney

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and excellent Associate Attorney to join our growing law practice.

We offer a small firm environment, work-life balance and direct client contact and responsibility covering the full range of Trust and Estates matters, from Estate Planning to Trust Settlements to Probates and Conservatorships. Our attorneys work remotely on Fridays. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of Trust and Estates experience and be able to independently advise clients, draft appropriate estate plan documents and Court petitions, and manage our cases.

• Make independent decisions and advise clients in designing estate plans and drafting appropriate estate plan documents. Wealth Counsel experienced is preferred.
• Consult and advise trustees or beneficiaries on trust administration, including Court‑supervised trusts.
• Handle probate administrations from initiation of proceedings to discharge of personal representative, including court appearances.
• Handle conservatorship matters from initiation of proceedings to representation of conservators for the duration of these matters, including court appearances.
• Other projects, as assigned.
• 1,700 annual billable hour requirement.

• Two to three years’ experience in probate, trust and estate law.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage cases and clients independently.

• $120,000 – $150,000 Base salary plus competitive bonuses and benefits.
