Copywriter

Description

As a Copywriter at GSW, you will be responsible for crafting brand-specific messaging across all channels. This includes brainstorming ideas, developing concepts, writing manuscripts, and addressing team and client feedback. You'll manage execution for multiple customers, delivering strategically focused, thought-provoking work that makes an impact.

This role will support our GSW Santa Monica team so must be willing to work PST hours.

• Serve as the "project owner" by crafting imaginative, understandable, and persuasive copy aligned with brand messaging.
• Learn the marketing strategies of assigned brands.
• Gain fundamental knowledge of assigned brand(s) and a foundational understanding of brand science.
• Generate manuscripts, annotations, and references based on GSW and client specifications.

• 2+ years of experience and/or a solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
• Portfolio containing work samples that demonstrate creative thinking and exceptional writing skills.

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, journalism, or related field; coursework in pharmaceutical advertising or life sciences is a plus.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accept constructive internal and client feedback.
• Ability to multitask with precision in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of digital communications and media channels.
