Clinic RN – Hematology Oncology – Providence

Join our oncology team as a Clinic RN at Providence Saint John’s Medical Foundation in Santa Monica, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the lifespan.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs through direct, telephonic, telehealth, or electronic encounters.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to develop individualized care plans.
• Document nursing care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families on disease process, treatment options, medication use, and self‑management strategies.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
• California registered nurse license upon hire.
• National provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 18 months professional nursing experience in outpatient or ambulatory setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association upon hire.

Location Santa Monica, CA. Pay range $47.33 – $73.48 per hour.
