RN Manager Operating Room Exp - Hospital

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead our Operating Room team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with a focus on operating room management. The RN Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team of nurses, and collaborating with other departments to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 3 years of progressively responsible operating room management experience (leadership experience such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in an acute care hospital)

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of the Operating Room, including staffing, scheduling, and supply management
- Lead and develop a team of nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Anesthesia and Surgery, to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for the Operating Room
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care
