American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with IP general medicine case management experience for a day-shift position requiring prior travel assignment experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- BSN required
- 3-4 years of RN case management experience in an IP general medicine unit preferred
- Clinical discharge planning and utilization management experience required
- Inter Qual (IQ) competency required
- Recent experience in case management, utilization management, and discharge planning required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Inpatient general medicine unit case management role
- Day shift, 4x10 hours, Monday-Friday with a variable day off (7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Responsibilities include discharge planning, utilization review, concurrent review, continued stay reviews, appeals and denials, and care coordination
- Business professional attire required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Recommended to keep RTO under 7 days per assignment when possible
- Former UCLA contractors, travelers, or employees must have a 12-month separation and be cleared by Talent Management before reapplying
- Candidates currently active with any University of California entity are not eligible for consideration
