Sr. SDET – Python & API; Big Data Testing

Duration : 12 months

Rate Range :
Up to $96/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization : GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B

• Strong Python development skills (will be tested in Coder Pad)
• RESTful API testing experience
• SQL proficiency (complex queries, database validation, backend testing)
• Test automation framework development (UI, API, and integration levels)
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar)
• Familiarity with BDD/TDD (Gherkin)
• Experience in Big Data testing

• Collaborate with software engineers to understand the complex ad technology ecosystem.
• Design and build automated test frameworks and suites across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Participate in platform design discussions to enable richer and more effective test coverage.
• Develop and execute test cases
  , both manual and automated, ensuring high-quality releases.
• Lead automation efforts by converting manual tests into reusable automated tests.
• Diagnose, triage, and resolve issues across distributed systems and services.
• Partner with product and engineering teams in Agile sprints, supporting 4–5 engineers per cycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software test development (functional and non-functional).
• Proven track record of building or improving test automation frameworks

• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and Agile methodology.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in improving testing culture and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
