Full Stack Developer; MEAN Stack

Studio Binder is looking for a Full Stack (M.E.A.N.) Developer! Studio Binder is a software company located in Santa Monica, and is a project management solution for producers, filmmakers and video creatives to better plan and execute their productions.

You’ll work within Studio Binder’s growing engineering team and help with:

• developing and maintaining the backend and front end of our MEAN Stack app (Mongo
  
  DB, Express, Angular
  
  JS, Node.js)
• managing and developing the application, database, client app, and front-end (HTML5, CSS3)
• implementation of security and data protection, design and implementation of data storage solution

• have 8+ years of experience in developing robust, performant, maintainable software
• be proficient with MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Node.js, UI/UX Design, Frontend Engineering, Bootstrap, AWS/EC2/ELB/S3/Dynamo
  
  DB, Front-End/Full-Stack (UI-Angular
  
  JS-JS-NodeJS)
• live in Santa Monica (or very nearby) so you won’t rue your job sitting in LA traffic
• interested in the entertainment industry (production experience is a bonus)
• demonstrate eagerness and passion about taking on challenging problems
• might describe themselves as analytical, proactive, friendly, organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, etc.

In a Typical Morning, You Might:
Get to the office, settle in, join a morning scrum with the CTO to check in on progress. Grab a croissant and coffee from the snack bar. Sync with the CTO to clarify the workflow of one of your features and plan a more efficient implementation. After a few hours of coding in your IDE, it’s lunch time! You and the team stroll to Tender Greens on the Promenade and chat about how progressive web apps are changing the world, and why you think Season 2 of Westworld was just okay.
