Base pay range: $16.25/hr – $17.25/hr.

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the packinghouse work areas, machines and equipment used to process the lemons; ensuring the entire plant is kept clean, sanitized, and organized to assure the innocuousness of the equipment for the daily operations and in the event of an Audit.

• Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces and processing areas including floors, walls, conveyors, tables, rollers, catch pans and others.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize equipment as needed.
• Follow master sanitation schedule and Sanitation Standard Operation Procedures (SSOP) as instructed by Lead or Supervisor.
• Prepare all cleaning set up, including the preparation of cleaning solutions that require dilution ratios.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, code of safe practices, standard operating procedures and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Follow all Safety and Food Safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the Lead, Supervisor or Management.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in sanitation.

• Stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time.
• Bend, stoop, squat, push and pull in a safe manner.
• Use hands and fingers, grasp with both right and left hand, and have dexterity in the fingers, hands, and feet.
• Hear normal and soft tones, talk and hear.
• Normal or corrected to 20/40 eyesight.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Twist from left to right and right to left from waist and turn neck both left and right.
