Gardener 1 position will maintain common area landscaped areas at the headquarters offices, town offices and Oxnard facilities and housing areas.

• Responsible for all yard maintenance at all Limoneira locations
• Responsible for minor sprinkler repair and maintenance
• Fertilizes and waters common area lawns as needed
• Responsible for proper use and care of material and tools used in the performance of tasks/duties
• Required to perform daily safety checks on all tools and equipment and report needed repairs to Foreman
• Must comply with all Safety and Food Safety rules and regulations
• Perform all other duties as directed by the Housing & Commercial Operations Manager or Limoneira Management

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 1 year experience in gardening or related field
• Must have experience in self-propelled lawn mowers and powered landscape tools
• Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license
