About the JobAs a general manager, you will be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost control, inventory control, cash control, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, marketing, profitability, and ensuring the store meets all standards of cleanliness, safety and service.
Responsibilities- Set the example and anticipate the needs of your crew.
- Follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
- Personnel staffing and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, cost controls and cash control.
- Manage food inventory and food‑management processes.
- Work according to schedule and maintain a perfect image.
- Maintain store cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Drive marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Drive profitability and meet financial targets.
- Transport to/from work as required.
- Ensure great customer service and attendance.
Many team members start as delivery drivers, advance to store manager, and then to franchise owner. Opportunities also exist for corporate operations such as general manager or manager of corporate operations.

Qualifications- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage.
- Prepare, assemble and cook product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Complete orientation and on‑job training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to give correct written instructions.
- Ability to provide accurate verbal instructions to customers and co‑workers.
- Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and accurate monetary change.
- Strong verbal, writing and telephone skills for taking orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to over 90°F.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
- Standing, walking, pushing, climbing, lifting and carrying tasks are required.
- Bulk product deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray may be carried three at a time.
- Hand and eye coordination for handling pizza dough, pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard boxes.
- Driving and navigation in designated delivery area.
