Civil Engineer

Arkonic Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer position based on-site in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing civil engineering designs, plans, and reports; preparing site layout, grading, utilities, and roadway design; performing stormwater management analysis and design. The role involves coordinating with developers, surveyors, environmental scientists, contractors and other professionals, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

The Civil Engineer will also assist with permitting, respond to client and regulatory agency inquiries, and participate in field visits as needed to support project implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in Florida or soon to be licensed is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience working on infrastructure or land development projects.
• Skills in Planning for site development, utilities, roadways, and related project components.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Stormwater Management, including analysis, modeling, and design.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, apply relevant codes and standards, and produce clear documentation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients on-site.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
