Dermatology Solutions Group LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assist to join our dermatology surgical team.

Job Type: Full-time

• Delivers intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to the MOHS surgeon(s) as a collaborative team member.
• Delivers intraoperative technical and professional functions that help the MOHS surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient.
• Functions as a member of the surgical team and contributes to the overall efficiency of the peri-operative responsibilities.
• Ensures an excellent patient experience with all aspects of the practice and associated interactions, including phone, in person, and online.
• Ensures correct and complete patient information in health record by accurate documentation of notes throughout visit. Electronic notes are to be completed the same day as patient visit.
• Proactively performs essential and assigned daily clinic duties.
• Responsible for abiding by the Standards of Conduct and meets all compliance and other training requirements.
• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
• Maintains strict confidentiality.
• Treats co-workers, medical providers, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Ability to travel to main office and satellite locations, where applicable.

• High School education or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Course.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a CFT.
• Certification as a First Assistant by one of the following:
  • National Board of Surgical Technician and Surgical Assistant (NBSTA)
  • American Board of Surgical Assistant (ABSA)
  • National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistant (NCCSA)
