Overview

We are seeking a Trust Specialist to manage daily cash flow, account maintenance, and related administrative support for Trust Officers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cash flow and initiate money market and cash transfers to avoid overdrafts.
  • Request securities trades from the Investments team on behalf of Trust Officers.
  • Process daily mail and recommend actions to assigned Trust Officers.
  • Maintain system records, including account master and interested party updates.
  • Update pending disbursements and related records for invoices and distribution requests.
  • Review prior day transactions for accuracy and inform the Trust Officer of discrepancies.
  • Perform routine account file maintenance: imaging, paper filing, research, and retrieval.
  • Act as liaison between Trust Officers and Trust Operations on account maintenance and transaction issues.
  • Respond to client inquiries and handle incoming telephone calls.
  • Prepare backup documentation for annual account reviews and Trust Operating Committee reports.
  • Set up, close, and follow up on various types of accounts.
  • Process deposits and disbursements and track timely receipt of required contributions.
  • Request trade recommendations and monitor completion of investment transactions.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Knowledge of modern office administration methods and practices.
  • Proficient with personal computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software).
  • Basic mathematical calculation skills.
  • Understanding of trust operating systems, general trust administration, qualified retirement plans, and IRA principles.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Primarily seated office work.

Compensation

$22.00 to $33.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
