Supervisory Training Instructor (STI)

Trinity Technology Group, Inc. (TTG) is hiring for the position of Supervisory Training Instructor (STI). The trainer must be an individual of unquestionable integrity who displays a mature attitude and exercises good judgment.

• Conducts screenings to maintain awareness and technical proficiency necessary for instruction.
• Manages and delivers training materials while maintaining communication with supervisors regarding training issues that may indicate security-screening weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
• Must be screener-certified and meet all recurrent training, evaluation, and recertification requirements established by TSA to remain qualified for training and screening functions.
• Instructors shall maintain certifications for all areas they deliver training, including passenger, baggage and dual-function training.
• STIs must also complete annual quality assurance assessments and achieve a rating of “Meets Expectations” or higher.
• Supervise and guide basic students during their training period.
• Document both the completion and failure of students to meet minimum training standards.

• Formal instructor training from a recognized source (e.g., U.S. military, Federal training program, college/university or trade school, or private corporation).
• Instructor certification from a recognized instructor training program (e.g., ASTD, CTT+).
• Minimum of 2 years adult-learning classroom instruction experience.
