• Fuel student success and your own as you support your assigned student as determined by their individualized education plan (IEP).
• Provide customized behavior support and teach valuable life skills.
• Play an essential role in a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic guidance and support.

• Work in a setting with diverse students from varying developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals set forth in their IEP, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
• Assist in the development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de‑escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment encouraging appropriate social and behavioral skills.
• Supervise students and ensure they are monitored, including transit to appropriate school locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans.
• Provide personal care support dependent on student needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents.

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

USD $19.00 – USD $22.00 /Hr.

• Ability to run short distances and move swiftly in response to student needs, including bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift and assist students with mobility challenges, often handling up to 50 pounds or more.
• Skill in managing fine motor tasks, such as helping students with writing, manipulating small objects, or using adaptive devices.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet for up to 8 hours daily.
• Capacity to notice and respond to non‑verbal cues from students.
• Capacity to remain calm and composed during physically and emotionally demanding situations, ensuring student safety and well‑being.
