COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Salary Range: Yearly salary of $86,901.00 -$ (25/26 Faculty Salary Schedule);
    Placement within this range is determined by teaching experience, other related professional experience, and academic degrees. Contracted salary is for 177 days per year (August through May) as specified in the All Faculty Association Contract, Article 8.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking an individual with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and instructional administrators to provide high quality programs and services to our district, our community, and most importantly, our students. This is a full-time, regular contract position teaching Advanced Transportation and Logistics (see more info below) in the Industrial and Trade Technology Department at Santa Rosa Junior College, beginning Fall Semester, August 2026.

Appointments are contingent upon funding and Board approval.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

SRJC's Industrial & Trade Technology Department includes four career education programs:
Advanced Transportation and Logistics (ATL), Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT), Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), and Welding Technology.

In 2024, Santa Rosa Junior College merged the Automotive Technologies Program (AUTO) and the Diesel Technologies Program (DET) and formed a new Advanced Transportation and Logistics Program, reflecting technological advances in the transportation sector such as vehicle electrification, alternative fuels, and advanced driver assistance systems. The Advanced Transportation and Logistics Program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and hands‑on experience needed to excel in the rapidly evolving fields of automotive and medium‑heavy duty truck technology.

Through a comprehensive curriculum that integrates hands‑on learning, cutting‑edge industry practices, emerging vehicle technologies, and real‑world problem‑solving, the Advanced Transportation and Logistics Program prepares students for employment and long‑term career growth as mechanics and technicians in this dynamic and rewarding industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide excellent instruction and support to Advanced Transportation and Logistics (ATL) students, which may include evening, weekend, online or hybrid and/or off‑campus assignments
  • Develop and revise curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the Advanced Transportation and Logistics program
