Traffic Control Plan Designer – ENTRUST Solutions Group

Join us as a Traffic Control Plan Designer to develop traffic signal designs, traffic analysis, signing, and pavement marking plans that meet industry and client standards.

The Traffic Control Plan Designer will generate traffic control plans, advance traffic signal design, conduct traffic analysis, and produce signing and pavement marking designs from general instruction to detailed finished product. The designer must understand file structure, specs, industry, and client standards for assigned projects.

This Hybrid/primarily remote role requires candidates to live within San Jose, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, or the Bay Area. Quarterly in‑person meetings are required but travel expectations may change.

• AutoCAD design experience
• 2+ years drafting traffic control plans using AutoCAD
• Basic knowledge of MUTCD/CAT/CAT C H codes and regulations

• An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in design and drafting technology or a related field
• Experience with California DOT and County design policies and procedures
• Basic understanding of Cal Trans traffic control plans

Exempt position, $55k–$90k annually, depending on experience.
